WHY I primarily take photographs while traveling. I observe different people, different landscapes, a different world, while I am away from the daily, the ordinary. My camera becomes my additional set of eyes, that make me see differently. Back at home, I often let the images alone, to develop and to ripe. Much later, a fresh look helps me to no longer see the people, or the landscape, but rather what people do to each other, to nature, and how relevant or irrelevant that is.
To you, the viewer, I wish that my images are an invitation to look differently as well. Interested in any of my work, or suggestions to make? I’d love to talk, just contact me via details below.
The works shown in the Art Gallery section of this website are for sale. All proceeds, net of external production costs, go to an NGO that is exclusively connected to the unique piece of work. Want to know more? Contact me via details below.
For the works shown under my current project Matter of Time the selected NGO is World Wildlife Fund.
